A Hallsville teenager has been killed in a crash on Highway 124 in Boone County.
Missouri state troopers say 18-year-old Molly Jones was a passenger in a vehicle that was westbound on 124. Troopers say the vehicle traveled off the road, struck a culvert and overturned.
The Patrol says Jones, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle’s driver, a 17-year-old juvenile from New Franklin, sustained moderate injuries.
The crash happened at about 5:20 Wednesday afternoon.
