Columbia police arrest a suspect tied to a 2017 homicide.
Officers said Monday that Jeffrey McWilliams is accused of second degree murder and more.
Investigators say 28-year-old Augustus Roberts was shot and killed during a drug-related home invasion on Lasso Circle in December 2017. Several members of an alleged marijuana scheme have pleaded guilty to drug trafficking in federal court since Roberts’ death.
