Columbia Police say the object that was found downtown near a busy bank branch that looked like a hand grenade was not an explosive device.
CPD investigators are still working to determine how it ended up in a flowerbed outside the busy Central Bank branch.
ABC-17’s Kennedy Miller reports there is a security camera above the flower bed, and she asked CPD if they have pulled security footage. Police say they cannot answer that question.
No injuries are reported.
