Missouri’s attorney general blasts vaccine mandate

Missouri’s attorney general describes President Biden’s vaccine mandate as federal overreach, and plans to file a lawsuit against it.

Attorney General Eric Schmitt says the lawsuit will be filed by the end of the week. President Biden’s vaccine plan would require all employers with at least 100 employees to ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated, or to show a negative test at least once a week.

Mandate supporters say it’s about protecting health, while Schmitt has been critical from the start.

CNBC reports business groups are asking the Biden administration to delay the mandate until after the holiday season. The business groups are worried about labor shortages and supply chain issues.
