Missouri’s governor says COVID numbers are dropping significantly across the state.

Governor Mike Parson tells Capitol reporters that since the Omicron variant peaked in January, daily cases have decreased to less than 1,000 per day, down 18,000.

He also says COVID hospitalizations have fallen from 4,000 to 1,300 per day. Governor Parson made his comments, just before he introduced Fulton’s Paula Nickelson as Missouri’s new acting health director.

You can find more detailed COVID information on the state Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) website.
