Pinnacle to reopen Boonville hospital during bankruptcy claim

It’s looking like the Boonville hospital that closed last month will re-open as its parent company goes through bankruptcy court.

ABC 17 reports the Kansas-based company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Wednesday. Pinnacle closed the Boonville facility after saying it would be too expensive to keep the facility up with regulations.

The hospital’s ER stayed open for limited hours. Some employees have already found other jobs in health care.
