Boone County sheriff’s deputies have removed three children from a roach and bug-infested home on New Haven road.
Our news partner KMIZ reports deputies arrived at the home on Sunday evening, and allegedly found an intoxicated Tommie Jones and his wife arguing in the front yard.
Captain Brian Leer tells ABC-17 News authorities found trash throughout the home, along with dirty dishes and swarms of roaches on the walls and floors.
There was no food inside the home. KMIZ reports deputies had to leave the home frequently, because they became nauseous and were gagging.
The parents have been arrested and are facing child neglect charges.
