While there are a few scattered showers this (Monday) morning across mid-Missouri, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Kansas City says there is no severe threat today in the 939 the Eagle listening area.

NWS Kansas City meteorologist Pam Pietrycha tells 939 the Eagle that there is a chance of severe storms in mid-Missouri late Tuesday evening, into Wednesday morning. Tomorrow’s storms will be developing in Kansas and Oklahoma, before moving into the listening area.

This will be an active week of weather: keep your radio tuned to 939 the Eagle and have fresh batteries for your radio.

A few strong to severe storms are possible today along the I-44 corridor and points south. Lebanon and Rolla could see severe storms.
