UPDATE: Moniteau County prosecutor charges 19-year-old with first degree murder for Sunday’s killing near Russellville

The sheriff’s department in mid-Missouri’s Moniteau County has identified the suspect in Sunday’s deadly shooting near Russellville as 19-year-old Ethan Bondurant of California.

Moniteau County Sheriff Tony Wheatley says Bondurant has been charged with numerous felonies, including first degree murder, four counts of armed criminal action and two counts of first degree assault. Bonduarant is jailed without bond.

Sheriff Wheatley says Bondurant allegedly killed a 20-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at a home on Carney King road. The victim’s name has not been released.

Deputies found two other shooting victims: an 18-year-old male and a 19-year-old female. They were transported to University Hospital in Columbia. Deputies also found a female who had been assaulted.

Bondurant was captured by deputies after he crashed his vehicle into a fence on Highway T.
