A second Columbia teen has now been charged as a juvenile, for Saturday morning’s killing of a teen who was shot to death while sleeping in her bed on McKee street.
Columbia Police have detained the second suspect, who’s 16. He’s been charged as a juvenile, and has been detained for first degree murder charges.
Columbia Police Department spokesman Jeff Pitts tells 939 the Eagle that the investigation continues.
More than 200 people attended this weeks’ candlelight vigil for 15-year-old Aubrey Doxley. Her mother says Aubrey was lying in her bed at home when shots came through the window and killed her.
Police have also detained a first teen, who’s been charged as a juvenile as well.
